Thanks to everyone who helped by preparing and cooking the meal, making the homemade pickled cabbage and serving the meal. We also had members pick up supplies and put out signs. Others helped by setting up before and cleaning up after the event. We also had a number of desserts donated for the event and when it appeared we may need more, calls were made and people responded.
We need to thank the community for supporting this event.
We also cannot forget the members of the congregation who donated money to help defray the expense of the beef and supported the purchasing of meals for FISH.
We had a full dining room most of the night serving approximately 250 meals including St. Paul’s workers and that generated proceeds of approximately $2,000 towards our Clean Water Project with Samaritan’s Purse.
We had a great time and we will be able to make a lasting impact in the lives of people in need while proclaiming the gospel of Jesus Christ.
